Using Palettes
VoodooPad 4 introduces a new unified palette. All the information you would need about your document in one easy place. Don't let the single palette scare you, however. If you want, you can resize it, or make as many of them as you want.
If you have questions about a specific palette, choose it from the list of palettes on the
palettes page.
New Palette
To create a new palette choose
Window ▸ New Palette

If you're palettes have become messy, you can gather them up by choosing
Window ▸ Gather Palettes
Hiding the Palette List
By clicking and dragging from the right edge of the palette list, you can shrink, or get rid of the list. This is great when screen realestate is low, try using it in conjunction with the Palette HUD.
Palette Hud
You can pop up a nifty palette HUD for quick switching between palettes. Click on the button in the bottom left corner of the palette to pull it up. The palette HUD does the same thing as clicking on the titles of the palettes on the left side, but gives you another way to change palettes around. If you're short on screen realestate, try hidding the list, and using this feature.
Hiding the Palette
You can hide the palettes by choosing
Window ▸ Palettes ▸ Hide Palettes or by hitting this toolbar item (see
customizing the toolbar if you don't see this in your toolbar)
