Its possible to make a link from one VoodooPad document to another inside VoodooPad. Nifty eh? There are a few ways to accomplish this, read below to figure out which one is the easiest for you.
Dragging the Icon
- Open up the page you're trying to link to
- Find the document you're trying to link from in Finder
- Drag the icon of the document into the open VoodooPad document where you would like to link to be inserted
- Choose to either link to the documents index page, or to a specific page
Dragging the Tab
If you've got your document set up to use tabs (VoodooPad->Preferences->Tabs) you can also drag one tab into another document to make a link.

Heres what you need to do if you're looking to link pages:
You'll notice it pastes the name of the page, and goes to the other document if you click it. However, if you've already got a page named "Index" trying to make a link to another "Index" won't work, because that name is already taken. In order to link to another page that has a name thats the same as a page in the document you're trying to link from, follow these steps:
- Go the page you're trying to link from
- Type out or select a bit of text that will become the link to the other document (example: That Other Index)
- With the text selected, choose Edit->Custom URL Link
- Paste the link you copied into the address bar
- Hit "OK"
You've now made a link from one document to the other.
