Uploading from Acorn to Flickr
For those of you who use
Flickr∞ there is now an easier way of getting your pictures from Acorn to the web. With just a simple install of
Flickr Uploadr∞ you can be on your way in minutes. Heres the steps:
- Drag the application to the Applications folder.
- If Acorn is open, you'll need to close and relaunch it. Otherwise, just start it up like you normally do.
- Open up a picture that you want to upload to Flickr.
- Locate the menu option Image->Flickr Uploadr and select it. This will send the image that you've been working on to the Flickr Uploadr application.
- If its the first time you've launched the application, it will need you to sign in, and will guide you through a few steps to achieve this.
- Now you can select your photo, change the name and write in some details.
- When you're done and the photo is ready for upload, press the huge "Upload Photos" button in the bottom right of the window.
- Flickr Uploadr will do a bit of work, and should alert you when its done.
- Simply log into your flickr page and send the link to friends.
Try tying these steps together with
Taking Screen Shots with Acorn for a quick way to send shots of what you're working on.
